team to win back-to-back championships since Florida won consecutive
titles in 2006 and 2007. -
The Tempe Mission Palms served as the Hoop Historians Final Four Headquarters
during the week.-
21 people participated in the Hoop Historians Final Four
Get Together Dinner, which was held at Harry's Place in Tempe, Arizona.

The Annual Business Meeting was conducted outdoors at the
Tempe Mission Palms and had 24 members attend.

The Hoop Historians played Final Four Jeopardy during a
social hour to conclude the evening's activities.

Kitty Petar was elected as
lone new member, and became the 99th person to be chosen as a Hoop
Historian.

Hoop Historians Billy T
Haynes, Joe Klebon, Don MacKay, Dennis Mishko all climbed the mountain
which was adjacent to the Hoop Historians Headquarters.

Al Sack and Joe Spagnolo flew
1,756 miles round-trip to Dallas in the same day to witness the solar
eclipse and made it back in time for the championship game.

Joe Klebon won the fourth
annual Hoop Historians Hoop Hysteria Contest, correctly identifying UConn
as the champion and Purdue as a Final Four team.
