Larry has had a long career in being close to the game of basketball for the past five decades. In addition to attending 47 Final Fours, Baker served as Public Address Announcer and Special Assistant to the Athletic Director for Boys Basketball games at Lane Tech High School in Chicago. Larry was the Public Address Announcer for the Chicago Skyliners basketball team, during their inaugural season in the American Basketball Association in 2000-2001. In addition to attending 135 consecutive Final Four games, Baker has seen the early rounds of NCAA Tournament play in Carbondale, Lawrence, Los Angeles, Dayton, Saint Louis, Milwaukee, Rosemont, Chicago, San Diego and Memphis. Larry is also a season ticket holder for various professional and college teams.  In 2022, Baker saw First Four games in Dayton, First and Second Round games in Milwaukee, the Regional in Chicago and the Final Four in New Orleans.
