 Meet the Hoop Historians

 

Joe Klebon was the Head basketball Coach at his alma mater, Shamokin Area High School in Coal Township, Pennsylvania, from 1986 to 2012.  He was also Head Coach at Warrior Run High School for eight seasons.  As head coach at these locations, Klebon amassed 581 career victories in a 32 year head coaching career.  At Shamokin, Klebon guided the Indians to 10 league division titles, eight District championships and 21 different tournament crowns.  Klebon is a 26-year member of the National Basketball Coaches Association and has been a certified basketball and football official with the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association for the past 36 years.  Joe has attended 18 NIT Pre-Season Tournaments at Madison Square Garden.  Klebon was the winner of the Hoop Historians Hoop Hysteria Contest in 2024.
